Chapter 2 and 3 Summary

  Chapter 2 Summary I am going to start off with Chapter 2 summary first. To begin with this summary at the beginning of Chapter 2 Nick and Tom are taking a train into New York city. While getting to their destination Tom tells Nick that he will be meeting his girlfriend or how some people know her his " Mistress". When Nick met Tom's girlfriend he seems to notice that Tom doesn't care if people see him with her he acts like if it were all normal. Tom buys his girlfriend a dog and Nick later on figures out that Tom has had an apartment for her mistress. Chapter 3 Summary Chapter 3 is all about the party Gatsby has thrown. Chapter 1 Summary

To start off this book started off with the plot and introducing the narrator Nick. This book took place around the years of WW1. Nick was in the army and moved to Ny. When Nick got to New York he moved into a small home that his friend had rented to him. He was surrounded with mansions and wealthy people.  As he gets installed at home he invites Daisy and her husband Tom to dinner. To start off I think that music is literature, because you need to know literature in order to be able to write and compose music. Music expresses your thoughts and feelings, just as literature. Literature is mainly about writing. If it's writing a poem, a paragraph, a book or just words. Something that you can also read and be understandable.
