We Eat Social Media for Breakfast

Well to start off the title to this essay is pretty ironic, we can't really eat social media for breakfast in that case this is the use of personification.  But to top it off I'm getting the point of view of this author and he is right. Now days everyone is so hyped on there phones where ever they go they have them with them & if they don't they feel lost with out it. Some people can't sit at a dinning table and eat there food peacefully without being on there phones & that's common for everyone if you're a kid, a teenager , or an adult.             As technology has improved everyone at all ages has been found to be using a device & that's pretty crazy. Even elder eople whom thought to never be on social media or even get the privilege to have a phone now do. Journal Topic April 27th Digital Divide

There is some ways in where technology can help me or not help me. In some ways it can help me with homework and getting access to certain information i need if it's for a project or something in class where i can't find in a textbook. In another way technology and the web can be a distraction for example instead of doing homework , i can get distracted with being on social media. so as of everything there is pros & cons. In reality none of the data is secure and protected due to the fact that our government and special certain people can access and buy our information.

As I went through the notes from Dr. Preston and other students my observation was that in our 3rd period class lots of people have different topics meaning they all have a different perspective in things making them have questions & for that they research what they did. If it's about religion, free tuition, getting your act together , or racism etc...
