Journal Topic April 27th Digital Divide

There is some ways in where technology can help me or not help me. In some ways it can help me with homework and getting access to certain information i need if it's for a project or something in class where i can't find in a textbook. In another way technology and the web can be a distraction for example instead of doing homework , i can get distracted with being on social media. so as of everything there is pros & cons. In reality none of the data is secure and protected due to the fact that our government and special certain people can access and buy our information.

Chapter 1 Summary

To start off this book started off with the plot and introducing the narrator Nick. This book took place around the years of WW1. Nick was in the army and moved to Ny. When Nick got to New York he moved into a small home that his friend had rented to him.
