We Eat Social Media for Breakfast

Well to start off the title to this essay is pretty ironic, we can't really eat social media for breakfast in that case this is the use of personification.  But to top it off I'm getting the point of view of this author and he is right. Now days everyone is so hyped on there phones where ever they go they have them with them & if they don't they feel lost with out it. Some people can't sit at a dinning table and eat there food peacefully without being on there phones & that's common for everyone if you're a kid, a teenager , or an adult.

As technology has improved everyone at all ages has been found to be using a device & that's pretty crazy. Even elder eople whom thought to never be on social media or even get the privilege to have a phone now do. It's crazy to even think of how it will be in a couple more years.

Anyways, the author's message here was that he never thought to be like so many other people to the point he did what he did. His tone of voice in the part where he describes what he did is him being kind of ashame in my point of view. He says " I've become one of those narcissistic shares i use to make fun of" meaning he never thought of him getting to the point of taking a picture of his food and sharing it to some else not present. In my sense i don't really think it's anything bad due to the fact most people do it & sooner or later it would have happened.
